Trey Williams, 20, of Arlington, was killed early Saturday, in a one-vehicle wreck involving a pickup. Hunter Smith, 20, was seriously injured.{{more}}
The accident occurred on Southwest Loop 820 near Benbrook around 12:20 a.m. Saturday morning.
The pickup rolled over in the accident, ejecting both from the vehicle. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene and Smith was taken to a local hospital with multiple injuries.
Williams and Smith played football together for the Kennedale Wildcats and both graduated from Kennedale High School in 2013.There were no other occupants in the pickup.Source: Benbrook Police Department and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
