Pyles signs with A&M Commerce Volleyball

Pyles earned all-district honors all four years in high school. Maggie earned the Newcomer of the Year award her freshman year, made the 1st team as a sophomore and then was named MVP as Hitter in both her junior and senior years.
 
Pyles was also an All-State Academic athlete this year and was All-District Academic all four years.

“Maggie is an incredibly dynamic athlete,” said Head Coach Jennifer Patterson. She added, “Her ball control

and court sense are some of the best I have seen in my 13 years coaching. I

feel blessed to have been a part of her high school volleyball career. I know

she will be successful at the college level. Her personality and natural

leadership abilities will inspire new team to greatness on and off the court.

She has worked very hard for many years for this opportunity. Her Lady Kats

family is proud of her and all of her accomplishments.”

Kennedale placed as high as #7 in state 4A polls, ended the

season with an overall 30-14 record, going 10-0 in district play.

Texas A&M Commerce plays in the Lone Star Conference finishing 6th with 15-14 record this year. Six players made all-conference honors. The A&M Commerce Lions had a young team with just one senior this past season and are expected to be a force in the conference next season. Two years ago the team had a season record of 23-9. Head Coach Craig Case is in his 6th season at Commerce.
