Rutha was a faithful wife, mother, and church member. She was a nursery worker and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a waitress in 1957 at Hilltop Caf? in Kennedale where she met Billy E. Bishop. She worked beside Billy for nearly 59 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Bishop; three brothers; her parents, the Hails; in-laws, the Swishers; one brother-in-law; son-in-law, John; and her baby granddaughter, Amanda.
Survivors: Sons, Kenneth and William Bishop; daughter, Sara and husband, Dan Cotton; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law and their families; her extended family; friends and church family.
