School Board honors numerous students at December Meeting

The Board of Trustees of the Kennedale Independent School District met in regular session

December 19, 2019 in the Kennedale High School Media Center.? {{more: continue …}}

One of? the items was special recognitions.? At the meeting, Michael Cagle, Kennedale High School Principal, presented the following awards:?

• Sierra Issac and Airem Chavez were awarded their diplomas for graduating from the Wildcat

  Success Center.

• Brandon Isensee was recognized for being a 2019 National Merit Scholar.

• Sarayas Flores was recognized for KHS Cross Country qualifier and a top 10 finisher at the UIL

  2019 Regional CC meet.

• Jordan Barnett and Kori Lehman were recognized for being a NCA All-American Cheerleader and

  representing KISD at the Varsity Spirit Spectacular at Disney World.?

• J.D. Padgett signed with Southern Arkansas University to play baseball.

• The 2019 Girls and Boys Cross Country Team were recognized for being UIL Regional qualifiers.

• The 2019 Wildcat Varsity Football Team were recognized for being UIL 2019 District 9-4A

  Champions.?

• The 2019 Lady Kat Varsity Volleyball Team were recognized for being UIL 2019 State Volleyball

  Tournament Qualifiers, UIL 2019 Region II Champions and UIL 2019 District 9-4A Champions.?

• Coach Kelly Carl, Lady Kat Varsity Volleyball Coach, was recognized for being awarded coach of

  the year by the Fort Worth Star Telegram.?

Mr. Gee handed out medals from the UIL Volleyball State tournament to all school board members.
