The Kennedale Lady Kat softball team finished the year as bi-district champions once again. And, they have carried on the Lady Kats tradition by making the UIL playoffs for the 26th year. {{more: continue …}}

Kennedale has never missed a playoff since it started a team in 1993 and this is their 20th bi-district or district title. This year they beat Castleberry before falling to Aubrey in the area round.

Leading the team was four time all-district player, senior #20 Megan Calhoun who was selected MVP ? Offensive Player of the Year. In 2016 she was Pitcher of the Year and was a 1st Team selection in 2017 and 2018 as a sophomore and junior.

Earning 1st Team honors for the 2019 Lady Kats were #14 Shalie Wooden (FR), #2 Jade Willingham (FR), #8 Allie Hopper (SO), #18 Hope Regalado (JR).
