NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Amanda Sikes from Kennedale and a KHS graduate, Class 2013, has been named to the President’s List at Stephen F. Austin State University for the fall semester.
To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled in 12 or more semester hours and maintain a grade-point average of 4.0. {{more}}
Sikes received a $12,000 scholarship from SFA when she graduated KHS last year.
Stephen F. Austin State University is a public university located in Nacogdoches, Texas, United States. Founded as a teachers’ college in 1923, the university was named after one of Texas’ founding fathers, Stephen F. Austin. It has an enrollment of approximately 13,000 students.
