The KISD Board of Trustees will meet in a special session this Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in the Staff Development Room at 140 W Kennedale Parkway in Kennedale. The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m.?{{more: continue …}}

The Staff Development room is located next to the Kennedale Administration Building and the public is welcome to the short meeting.?
The meeting has been called to consider changes to the KISD Student Handbook to reflect recent changes.

Changes include …
- an update to the KISD grading guidelines. This was prompted by a move from the current 6 week grading periods each semester to 9 week grading period each semester;?
- a revision of KISD Board Policy Local including when the calculation class rank for seniors wiil be done;
- changes to the KISD Student Drug Testing administration, and;
- other updates to the Student Code of Conduct.
