Austin Eggleston for Kennedale had a decent game allowing two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings of work. Aaron Williams? line drive single to right field scored Perez and moved O?Connor to third. A line drive out to centerfield ended the rally.

The Cats tried to get another rally going in the top of the 7th when with one out, Steven Murchinson hit a double to centerfield. But a Stephenville relief pitcher in, Aaron Williams was forced into a hard ground out to short on a 2-2 count.
