Next week Delaney Elementary in Kennedale will host a preregistration for annual Tarrant County Back to School Round-up that will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth from 8 am to 2 pm. {{more:[find out more]}}
This year the annual Back to School Roundup, presented by Walmart and Sam?s Club, will provide free school supplies to 10,000 underserved students in grades Pre-K through 12th who reside in Tarrant county and meet specific income requirements. Round-up is a huge event that features live music, free haircuts and free school supplies.
In addition there will be free health screenings that include health, vision, hearing, dental along with immunizations.
To be able to attend this event, parents must pre-register. Delaney Elementary is hosting a preregistration on Tuesday, July 13 from 4-7 pm.
What you need to pre-register is
- picture ID,
- proof of Tarrant County residency,
- proof of income i.e. family of four would qualify if the annual income is $24, 300 or less or monthly income is $2300 or less. 2016
