Drawing opponents were incumbent KISD Board Trustee Joe Taylor, who will be opposed by Jeff Krieger and incumbent City Councilman Frank Fernandez, who will be challenged by Hollis Matthews.
Running unopposed this year for the Kennedale City Council are Charles Overstreet and Mike Walker.Running unopposed for the KISD Board of Trustees are Rhonda Barnes and newcomer Leslie Carruthers who will be replacing retiring trustee Julie Green.
