In an off year for the Kennedale Wildcat Baseball team
(10-17, 5-5), the Wildcats with a team dominated by younger players, placed 10 on the 7-4A All District Team including Best Defensive Player of the Year and the Newcomer of the Year. {{more:[See full list]}}
The Wildcats did keep their streak alive by making the
playoffs for 21st year. And with the rookies a year older, the Cats should be well positioned to challenge next year in their new district.
Earning honors this year were 2 senior, 3 juniors and 5 sophomores.
