This week begins the registration process for all students attending KISD Schools. The District had hoped that this year would be the year that registration could be done online. The transition to a new computer program that would allow online registration started earlier this year but was not at the point that district personnel felt it should be.

Returning students must have the following
- A parent/guardian must be present for a student to register. The parent must show acceptable identification (Driver?s License, Passport, U.S. or other government issued ID)
- Proof of residency is required of all students (June or July Electric or Gas Bill, Current Lease, Residency Affidavit, SRQ) Water bill is not accepted.
- Provide proof of up to date immunization records if needed
- The following forms will be required. These forms can be downloaded or obtained when enrolling
- FAST Pass or Enrollment Form (to ensure all the information we have from previous years is up to date/current)
- Responsible Use Technology Form
- Acknowledgement of Student Handbook /Code of Conduct
- Student Residency Questionnaire
- Emergency Card
New Students to the district must also have:
- Proof of Student?s Identity/Age (Birth Certificate, Driver?s License, Passport, Military Issued ID, Hospital Birth Record, Adoption Records, Church Baptismal Record)
- A parent/guardian must be present for a student to register. The parent must show acceptable identification (Driver?s License, Passport, U.S. or other government issued ID)
- Proof of residency is required of all students (June or July Electric or Gas Bill, Current Lease, Residency Affidavit, SRQ) Water bill is not accepted.
- Immunization Record, Affidavit by doctor indicating immunizations would pose a health risk to the student, Affidavit by parent that indicates opposition to immunizations for reasons of consciousness. (Affidavit?s must be notarized within the past 90 days)
- Student?s Social Security Card (Providing is voluntary, and if a copy is not provided the district will assign a state issue ID.)
- Court Documentation (if applicable i.e. Custodial Documentation, Foster Care Documentation)
