Wylie is coming off of a nice 2-0 win over 6A Odessa Permian (3-4-1). The LadyKats are coming off a 2-0 win over 4A Melissa (6-3).

This will be the fourth top ten 4A team that Kennedale has played so far this season, according to MaxPreps. Melissa was ranked #5 and Kennedale has played and beat #7 Boerne (2-0) and tied #9 Argyle (2-2). It is 5 state ranked teams, if you count the preseason rankings for the TASC, who ranked Mabank (6-4) at #9. The Kats won that game 2-0.

It is not a must win for either team this early in the season but it is one that both would like to have tacked up on the wall going into district play.
