Approximately, 190 first-teamers representing every high school sport across the Fort Worth area have been nominated this year to participate in the Tomlison Honors, including two from Kennedale. From this group, the Players of the Year will be announced.

Nominated for this year?s event were two Kennedale soccer all-stars, both seniors at Kennedale High School.
- Daphne Hunt, Sr., Kennedale
- Kevin Tiero, Sr., Kennedale
The events for the athletes includes a red carpet entrance, dinner and awards. The night of champions begins at 6 p.m. TCU and NFL great LaDainian Tomlinson will make the presentations.
