our most treasured commodity – our future …Teacher appreciation week comes at the end of the year, but now may be the most apt time to honor their contributions. Besides rescuing parents from the summer?s mantra, ?I am bored,? or the teen classic, ?Can I have some money, I want to go to the mall,? teachers across the country resume this month the process of educating our most treasured commodity, our future.
It is important to note that the term teacher includes not just our grade school teachers but adult educators, college professors and technical school instructors.
The top ten reasons why teachers matter
