The state championship will be held in San Antonio at the Alamodome this year.. Bands representing 4A and 6A high schools willl be competing for the state title in their respective divisions.a first for half of the band…
It is a really big deal for the students going especially if you consider that while this is the 6th straight trip of the Wildcat Band, it will be the first for at least half of the band. Since UIL alternates the competition each year between classes, the last time the Wildcat Band participated was in 2014. This means that this year’s seniors were sophomores and the juniors were just freshmen while the rest of the band has never been.“If you would like to wish them luck, come up and give them a big send off as they head to San Antonio to represent Kennedale ISD and our community,” said Mr. Marshel.12:15 Sunday afternoon …Be there by 12:15 pm tomorrow in front of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Kennedale High School.And don’t forget about the time change – “fall back”.
