The Kennedale Wildcat earn the most points this past week at the Bridgeport Bull Invitational, February 2, 2018and captured their second meet in as many tries this season,s while the Lady Kats earned fourth place.??{{more: continue.. }}
Wildcats …??The Wildcats finished with 37 points narrowly edging out Gainesville who had 36. Kennedale had 3 lifters win their class, 2 who came second and 2 with third place finishes.??
Following Kennedale and Gainesville, in order of finish, were Bowie, Bridgeport, Whitesboro, Lake Worth, Aubrey, FWT Western Hills, Krum, Santo and Peaster.??In the boys division, Wildcats who placed first in their weight class were lJoe Cullum?(123wt) with a combined lift of 870 pounds which currently ranks him in 2nd place in the region;??Ricardo Pena?(220wt) with a combined lift of 1480 lbs which places him in 1st place in the region; and,?Chris Serwanga?(242wt) with a combined lift of 1300 lbs that puts him in 4th place in the region.?Cameron Hanna?finished at the meet in 2nd place just behind Pena in the 220 wgt class is second in the region.?Luis Flores?finished 2nd in the 181 Class with a combined lift of 1090 lbs?
Kennedale currently has 6 powerlifters ranked in the top 4 in the region on the boys’ side. Besides Pena, Cullum, Hanna, and Seranga, the list includes?Angel Rico?and and?Braxton Lediaev.?

and Whitesboro. Following the Lady Kats (5th?- 9th)
were Lake Worth, Santo, Bowie, FWT Western Hills and Krum.??
The Lady Kats have
4 listed in the top ten in the region with Erlyna Morgan in the top spot in two
different classes. Ruth Mitchell holds a 3rd?place. Rita Spirison has a 5th?ranking. Karen Pena and Kehslin Henderson have a 7th place ranking
in their respective classes.

For the Lady Kats, Erlyna
Morgan is currently ranked #2 in the state in Division 2. Ruth Mitchell is
currently ranked 11th in the state.
For the Wildcats, Pena?s
lifts have placed him 4th in the state overall in Division 2 while
Hanna is ranked #8 in the same weight class. Joe Collum and Angel Rico currently hold the
#12 and #14 place statewide in the 123 Class. Braxton Lediaev holds 20th in
the 165 class and Chris Serwanga is in at #18 in the 242 Class.?
