It was a big night for Donny Darville (Sr) as he rushed for 171 yards, caught two passes for another 49 yards and made 4 touchdowns.?It was an equally good night for Juwan Washington (Jr) gaining 218 yards on the ground with another 28 through the air and 4 touchdowns.?Not to be left out was Bradon Hull (Sr),{{more}}who usually passes only a couple of times a game, made 6 of 9 passes for 83 yards and one touchdown. He also contributed 49 rushing yards in the Wildcat offensive show which rolled up close to 600 yards.

For Kennedale it started with a huge first quarter, scoring 29 points while the Wildcat defense limited Lake Worth to just 6 points. ?In the second quarter the Kennedale put up another 20 points with the defense shutting out the Bullfrogs completely. At half the game was well under control with the score of 49-6.

Lake Worth did put up some good number rushing for 328 yards but a lot of that was in the second half. The Bullfrogs had some big plays with a 33 scoring yard run by Kelton Versey in the first quarter and several big plays in the second half that included a crowd pleasing 90 yard kick-off return by Javier Palos, a 76 yard pass play by Versey to Christian Flores and a 72 yard scoring run by Trey White late in the 4th.

Lake Worth is 5-4 overall but falls to 2-2 in District 6-3A. Kennedale (5-4, 4-0) has only one more game left before it can secure its second undefeated district championship. The Wildcats will play Mineral Wells (1-8, 1-3) next Friday night at Wildcat Stadium. Despite its record, Mineral Wells gave #2 Springtown a tough fight Friday night, losing by one, 14-13.

Game time in Kennedale will be 7:30 p.m. but come early as the senior Wildcats and their parents are introduced including seniors in football, band, cheer team and pep squad.?
