If you want to see the Lady Kats and Wildcats play at home this is your last chance. Both teams play Lake Worth Friday night. It is also Senior Night for both teams. The Varsity Lady Kats play at 6:30 in the Cage and the Varsity Wildcats follow at 8:00 p.m.
The Lady Kats (14-9, 8-0) enter Friday night?s contest in control of District 6-3A with just two games left. {{more}}Friday night?s game against Lake Worth should be more of the same. Kennedale beat the Lady Bullfrogs in the last meeting 51-24 in the closes district game that the Lady Kats have had this season.
According to MaxPreps, Lake Worth is (10-14, 3-5) and battling for 4th place in the district. Mineral Wells and Springtown are battling for 2nd with district records of 6-2. For both teams the two losses came at the hands of Kennedale.
Last Friday night the Lady Kats deposed of the winless Lady Eagles from Fort Worth Diamond Hill by a score of 84-9. Scoring for the Kats were McKinley Bostad (20), Sadie Mahnesmith (17), Jasmyn Poe (14), Kathryn Mosely (8), Brenee Ellis (6), Dajia Simmons (6), Shania Roper (4), Aysia Williams (4), Anna Llamas (2), Payton Williams (2) and Zippy Gutierrez (1).
Tuesday night Kennedale played the Castleberry Lady Lions (2-13, 1-7), winning 78-16. Scoring for Kennedale was Bostad (24), Poe (20), Mahnesmith (14), Ellis (8), Jasmine Alli (4), Llamas (4) and Simmons (4).
Kennedale will finish the regular season next Tuesday night playing Mineral Wells at Mineral Wells.
