rite of passage ?
?
It is almost a clich? to say that Kennedale will be in the playoffs since this is the 18th straight year. For this year’s seniors the challenges has not been to make the playoffs but win another district title, 8th in as many years, and to add another undefeated district season, 3rd straight. If that is accomplished tonight, the district win streak moves to 42-0, dating back to the 2015-16 season.

The seniors of the Class of 2019 have already accomplished the first two and gunning for the third. It is very doable for this group. The seniors who will be recognized tonight are #12 Chyan Saffore, #13 Jacquira Ishmeal, #22 Daija Pugh, #24 Sanieya Anderson, #33 Kaylne Daniels and #44 Trinitee Warren. In the game against Diamond Hill on Tuesday the seniors combined for over half of Kennedale?s points with Saffore putting up 11 points, Ishmeal 8 pts, Pugh 2 pts, Anderson 10 pts and Trinitee Warren 18 pts.
