“When Santa heard that we wouldn’t be able to gather in TownCenter for the Tree Lighting Festival this year, he knew something had to be done. He called up KFD and soon they had a plan. Instead, Santa would ride on the engine down each and every street in Kennedale, spreading holiday cheer.”
When will Santa be in your neighborhood? Routes will begin around 7:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- Tuesday, December 15: Oak Crest, Crestdale, Oakhill Park, Shady Creek
- Wednesday, December 16: Falcon Wood, Steeplechase, Beacon & Murray Hill, Shady Creek East, Shady Oaks
- Thursday, December 17: Old Town, Avalon & Pine Hope, Brookstone, Melia Ranch

Thank you to the Kennedale Fire Department for making sure that everyone gets a chance to see Santa Claus this year even though we may be staying “Home for the Holidays”.
Special Note about Santa’s busy schedule: Our on-duty KFD personnel might need to respond to an emergency call. Your understanding is appreciated if Santa is unexpectedly called away and unable to stop by your street on the date scheduled. Make-up dates may be scheduled if time allows but cannot be guaranteed.
