Connie Dorosky, who was selected as the KISD Teacher of the Year last year, has been recognized by TEA Region XI as the Elementary Essay Winner for State Teacher of the Year.
Dorosky is a teacher at Patterson Elementary School, serving as the campus Gifted and Talented Program Liason and as the teacher in the Challenge Lab on campus.
The Challenge Lab provides services to the gifted students on campus as well as all students who show mastery in their classes.
