When The Mission Store reached out to the Kennedale’s schools for help, Fellowship Academy said yes! According to Amy Hunt, the food pantry manager, the major food drive event was cancelled this year because of COVID-19 concerns. Additionally, more of the community is needing help providing food for their families. Fellowship Academy, located in Kennedale, often runs food drives during the school year so helping our community out in this way is a natural fit.
Volunteers will be at The Mission Store, 229 W. 4th Street, accepting non-perishable food and cash donations today, November 9, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm. To donate, pull up to the orange cones and volunteers will unload your items.
