Thursday I signed an Interlocal agreement with Kennedale ISD that allows the city to use a small portion of our Federal CARES Act funding to purchase wifi hotspots. These wifi hotspots will allow students without internet access at home to continue their education during the pandemic. Shout out to school board vice president John Clark for identifying an area in which the school district and the city could collaborate to help our kids. The city will also have additional hotspots available at the library for citizens to use as well.
