SINGING THROUGH THE STORM!

“We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.
(1 Corinthians 10:13 TPT)

It’s always a great idea to reflect on the things in life that we are thankful and grateful for. Sometimes we take little things for granted; like having a cup of water to drink, or friends to talk to or even a dry road to drive on!. However, this past week has taught us to appreciate the simplest gifts of life.

This recent event (snow and ice storm) has not only given us an opportunity to appreciate one another but to also stop and think about things to be thankful for. One of the many things we should be thankful for is God’s faithfulness through uncertainty. “for along with every storm God has provided for us a way of escape. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Isn’t that a wonderful thing?

Before now, some of us have been very busy with our jobs, families and businesses that we loose sight of God’s goodness over the essential things like electricity, internet, clean water, dry road, etc. But now we have learned to take things slow and trust that God is in total control of our lives. So the next time we come face to face with fear, we are reminded through His Word that we are over-comers through Christ Jesus, and that His goodness is more than sufficient to see us through.

The Psalmist says “Oh sing to The Lord a new song, sing to the lord all the earth. (Psalms 96) Every experiences we go through in life opens up another opportunity to sing a new song to the Most High God! As you go about your daily activities, what new song will you sing unto the Lord?

I encourage you to create a special time this week to offer unto God a sacrifice of praise with singing, dancing and rejoicing. For you came out of the storm VICTORIOUS! (Psalms 100)

Take a minute to say this prayer with me:
“Dear Lord, I am thankful for life, family, the tangible & intangible things and most especially for calming the storms in our land. Thank you for making a way for me where I least expected. I trust you to protect me through every seasons of life.
Father, as I engage my mind and thoughts on what you have done, what you are doing and what you will do in my life & family, may I experience an overflow of joy, peace and love in every area of my life!!
In Your Name, Amen!!

Live Now, Live On, Love Life through singing a new song to the Lord!

Shalom,
Rosemary N Adio.
