Seemingly to fill in an open date in the schedule the Kennedale Lady Kat Volleyball has scheduled a previous opponent, the Arlington Sam Houston Texans for this Friday, September 6, 2024.
Sam Houston is a 6A school reporting a 10-8 record. One of the team’s gains came with a 2-0 win over the Kennedale Lady Kats on September 17 in tournament play. The Texans won in two sets 25-13 and 25-17. Almost 3 weeks later the two teams will get together to assess their improvement.
The Texans have played 11 games since that first meeting winning 7 of those matches. The Lady Kats have played 8 since, winning 4.
Game time is 7 p.m. at Sam Houston High School, 2000 Sam Houston Dr. Arlington, TX 76014.
Kennedale still has an open date next week before the Kats take on Irving Ranchview Friday night at home in the Wildcat Den.
