We have some of the most hardworking, dedicated teachers working in Kennedale ISD. Our teacher spotlight nominations are piling up and they are proof we have the best of the best in our district.
This week we are spotlight two special teachers. Today we are thrilled to spotlight someone who shines every day at Kennedale High School – Mrs. Wendy Hale!
Mrs. Wendy Hale is an English teacher at Kennedale High School. She is celebrating her 14th year in education and her 13th year in Kennedale ISD. Mrs. Hale is known for going above and beyond to support the needs of her students, always putting them first.
We asked Mrs. Hale what she enjoys most about working with her students:
“I love helping students see their own potential. Growth is powerful, and when a student experiences and recognizes his/her own growth, his/her self-esteem rises. The real learning will begin when students believe in themselves; when we, as teachers, foster this, we are, in a sense, empowering our students.”
Mrs. Hale was nominated by co-worker who shared a truly wonderful nomination.
“Mrs. Wendy Hale goes above and beyond for every single class, every single student, every single day. She prepares phenomenal lessons that take her students to deeper levels of learning, she puts great effort into ensuring her students are engaged, and she shares her passion for literature and learning while also showing compassion and patience that is unmatched by any other teacher. She is an inspiration to the English department and her fellow colleagues!”
There is no doubt Mrs. Hale is an inspiration to everyone around her. Mrs. Hale shared,
“I love coming to work at KHS each day because of my wonderful co-workers and amazing students. I am blessed to lean on these wonderful fellow teachers for their wisdom, wit, and unwavering friendship. I am equally fortunate to share my days with some truly exceptional young people, whose funny personalities challenge me to see my world through a new lens. They are constantly teaching me and challenging me.”
Mrs. Hale is a treasured gem at Kennedale High School and in Kennedale ISD. Her passion for teaching and working with students shines through in everything she does in the classroom.
