? ? “Let me start by saying how very excited I am to be joining the JAA team. I look forward to getting to know each of you in the coming weeks and months, so when you are at the school please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself. I thought I would write and tell you a bit about myself.
?
? ? My experience includes general education and special education (about half and half). I have taught 5th, 6th, 3rd and 2nd grades and served as an administrator on an intermediate campus. The intermediate grades are by far {{more}}my favorite. There is so much learning and growing that happens at this age, and I am excited to be part of that process. I began my career in Northwest, and have spent the last 3 years in Argyle.
?
? ? I am married and have 4 children, ages 21-25. They are off doing their own thing for the most part, but I have found that the ‘mom thing’ doesn?t end when you send them packing. I also have a VERY spoiled dog named Mazy. My husband and I were always the type people that made fun of people that treat their dog like we treat ours?guess you never know when you might have to eat your words!
?

? ? My interests include reading, miniatures (no doll house yet, but definitely working on that one!), history, travel and visiting cemeteries. I also love spending time doing anything outdoors, and of course, being with family.
My door is always open – don?t hesitate to contact me if you ever have questions or concerns.
I?m looking forward to a great ‘rest of the year’.?
