? ? ?#3 Kennedale Lady Kats extended their winning streak over Mineral Wells to 3 this season by beating the Lady Rams 74-57 Tuesday night in a Class 3A Region I Quarterfinals match.?? ? ?The Lady Kats led almost from the very brginning but Mineral Wells was only three points down at the end of the 1st. Kennedale opened a 12 point lead by halftime, 35-23. ?The Lady Rams refused to give up and went on a run in the 3rd quarter outscoring Kennedale 21-19 but was never able to close the gap. Kennedale sealed the win in the 4th with a run of their own. {{more}}?? ? ?Nia Watson lead the Lady Kats with 21 points, followed by McKinley Bostad with 17, Travanti Downes with 13, Taryn Johnson with 9, Jasymn Poe with 7, Sadie Fleschner with 4 and Tahnia McDaniel with 3 points.?

??? ? ?The Lady Kats move on to regional play in Lubbock this weekend. The winner of the four team regional will play next week in Austin as the final four play for the state championship. Friday night Kennedale will open regional play with #8 Lubbock Cooper at 7 p.m. In the other game #1 Stephenville will play #21 Perryton at 8:30 p.m. The winners will face off Saturday at 1 p.m. All regional games are played at the United Spirit Arena on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock.?
