? ? ?The Kennedale Rotary Club has an interesting fund-raiser for the patriot in all of us. ?It is fairly inexpensive and it is a no-hassle, no worry way to show your red, white and blue.? ? ?For $35 a year, the Rotary club will place a flag in front of your house on six holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriots Day and Veterans Day. {{more}}?? ? ?You never have to remember to put it out, take it up or clean and store it. The Rotary members do it for you.?? ? ?Of course the Kennedale Rotary Club hopes you participate but they also hope that it creates interest in the club and its activities. ?The Kennedale club was chartered in March, 2009 and meets weekly on Tuesday (noon) at No Frills on Little Road.
? ? ?The Club, which is actively involved with local schools and students, offers a leadership training program for high school juniors and seniors, dictionaries for 4th grade students, promote student exchange programs as well as providing food and clothing to those in need in the community and other activities of interest and need in the community along with the chance to get together with others and enjoy a noon meal with friends.?? ? ?For more information about the flag program or the Rotary Club call 817-532-6291 or come by one the weekly meetings.
