The Lone Star Conference has released the annual All-Academic teams for Cross Country, to honor athletes for both athletic and academic achievements.

To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average. The All-Academic teams are voted upon by the league’s sports information directors.

Blind, an animal and dairy science major, with an emphasis on pre-veterinarian sciences, holds the fifth best 5k time in Zia history. She set the mark, this season, at South Plains, when she finished in 18:56.97 placing fifth. Blind?s top 6k time for the season was 24:44.54, at the Wagonwheel Dual Meet.
