Stolen property from Arlington resident recovered in Kennedale

On Tuesday, October 15, a Kennedale resident turned over to the Kennedale Police items that she felt were stolen by her adult son. The items included credit cards, medications, electronics, backpacks and other personal objects.

A check with the owner of one of the credit cards revealed that her vehicle had been stolen from her home in Arlington three days earlier {{more}}and recovered on Peachtree Court in Kennedale that same day. Her purse was in the vehicle when it was stolen and several items in the property were in her purse. In addition, it appeared that the rest of the items belonged to neighbors of the first victim, whose cars had been burglarized that same night

The suspect information was turned over to Arlington Police Department detectives for follow-up. All property was logged into evidence for safekeeping until the owners are located and respond to claim it.
