KJHS Students claim 1st and 2nd place finishes at UIL Academics

Kennedale Junior High School students competed in the University Interscholastic League on February 26, 2014 at Glen Rose Junior High School and represented Kennedale by taking home first place in 7th grade and second in 8th grade.

Sixty-six students participated including students from James Arthur Intermediate School, a first time event for them. {{more}}

 
The 7th grade scored a total of 320 points taking 33 places from both individual competitors and teams combined. This gave them a 17 point advantage over the next school. The 8th grade totaled 266 points with 33 total places.
