The past week started with Kennedale 2015 running back Juwan Washington announcing his commitment to San Diego State. “Speed is the name of Washington’s game and it does not take to long to see it when you turn in his highlight reel. He is the type of player who can gash defenses for huge plays at anytime when he touches the ball. He gets north and south in a hurry and does not waste any movement, but does have great open field ability to juke defenders when he needs to. Will be a multi-functional athlete in college offense and will be a return game specialist.” unlv.scout
Baron Browning, 2017 LB, Kennedale — offered Tuesday by Oklahoma State, which is the second offer following Baylor for the young defender. “Browning played the middle and covered on special teams in six games as a freshman in 2013, recording an impressive 72 tackles.” unlv.scout
Chance Bishop, 2015 OT/TE, Kennedale — offered Wednesday by UTEP. “Bishop is primarily a blocker for a run-heavy offense at Kennedale. He caught one touchdown pass as a junior in 2013.” unlv.scout
