The Texas Girls Coaching Association (TGCA) named three Kennedale High School seniors from the class of 2014 to the TGCA 2014 Academic All-State team for Softball: Alicia Lopez, Maegan Garza and Carson Campbell. {{more}}
TGCA honored KHS junior pitcher Allie Turner as a member of the 2014 All-State Softball Team. Allie has verbally committed to play for Abilene Christian University upon Graduation in 2015.
Academic All-State Guidelines
- Academic All-State athletes and members of the support staff of that sport must be graduating seniors;
- Must have an overall GPA average of 94 or above for grades 9-11;
- Must be a varsity participant or support staff member in good standing; and
- Be of good moral character.
Proclamations will be awarded at the July 24th KISD Board meeting.
