Shaikh wins gold again at national racquetball tournament

Denver – June 25-29, 2014 Junior players from all across the U.S. competed for Gold medals in over 30 divisions for boys and girls in singles and doubles in the USAR 41st Wilson National Junior Olympic Racquetball Championships. {{more}}

At the competition 11 year old, Aamir Shaikh of Kennedale, won the 12 and under doubles Gold Medal and the singles Silver Medal.

This is the second year for Aamir to win gold and and first silver at the national event. At last year’s tournament held in Des Moines, Iowa, he won in the 10 and under division.

Aamir, a James Arthur Intermediate student, has been playing the sport for 2 and a half years with his father and coach, Azam Shaikh.
