The KISD Board of Trustees will meet in regular session tonight with several items on the agenda including hiring a replacement assistant principal at Kennedale High School. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the KISD Media Center located on the campus of Kennedale High School behind Wildcat Stadium. {{more}}
Jeff Krieger, who had been in the running for the principal job at Kennedale High School, earlier last month accepted an administrative position with Arlington ISD. Krieger had been assistant principal for the last four years and previously had earned the Region XI Assistant Principal of the Year Award.
New KHS Principal Justin Marcel has been leading a committee of teachers and staff in the selection process.
A public hearing is also scheduled to discuss the district?s financial accountability Rating by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). And, there will be a review of a district safety audit.
