In a tweet, Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson said ?Proud of the dedication of multiple agencies working to solve Carl Wilson’s homicide. A suspect has been arrested.?

 
The suspect is Devin Raymond Holland, 20, who was arrested at his home by Arlington Police early Thursday morning.
 
He is charged with murder and is in the Mansfield jail.
 
In a statement in a Star

Telegram report Kennedale Police Chief Tommy Williams said ?We can?t say that?s the only suspect,. This is still an open investigation.?

Police said that it was a combination of cell phone records, social media feeds,

forensic evidence and witness interviews which led them to Holland.

Reportedly, the suspect has ties to a Tarrant County gang but authorities could not say if that had any connection to the shooting.

Carl Wilson, 18 and an Arlington Martin High School student, was shot January 12, on Treepoint Drive in Kennedale in front of a car wash off of Little Road.
 
Wilson, a single father, had visited Kilgore College, and planned to continue playing football after graduating from high school.
