Kennedale ISD Public Relations Coordinator, Erin Jamison, was recently awarded by the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) at their 53rd annual conference in San Antonio, Texas.
She received the Silver Star Award of excellence on February 25th at the annual Star Awards Celebration for her work in creating the new Kennedale ISD logo. {{more}}Each year, TSPRA recognizes communicators in school districts, education foundations and education organizations for their outstanding work in both print and electronic media.
This year, almost 1,100 entries were received across 45 categories covering various media such as newsletters, programs, posters, reports, writing, image/identity packages, photography, graphics, video, electronic presentations, mobile apps, campaigns and web sites. Entries from school districts across the state were submitted and judged by a panel to determine the award winners in each category. Winning entries were honored based on their individual merit and district size.
Kennedale ISD Public Relations Coordinator, Erin Jamison, was honored for her outstanding communications efforts with a Silver Star Award in the logo/trademark category. The TSPRA Silver Star Award is awarded to those for an entry that achieves its purpose with noticeable creativity, craft and skill. Jamison has worked for Kennedale ISD as the Public Relations Coordinator since 2012.
