In the Burkburnett game, the Ladykats were in control from the first inning when they scored two runs and kept adding runs throughout the game.
Allie Turner got the win, striking out nine, allowing no earned runs on two hits and six walks. For the game she threw 119 times, getting 65 strikes and 12 ground/fly outs.
Turner went 2 for 2 with a double and a single. Jazyln Crowder had 3 RBIs for the game on a double and a single. Jamie Franks had an RBI on two doubles.

- Top of the first the LadyKats score two runs on a Allie Tuner double, a Alexa Niefert single and a Jazyln Crowder sacrifice. The Kats then held off the Lady Bulldogs with 2 on and 2 outs when Turner got her first strike out of the game after allowing a single and a walk. Score 2-0 Kennedale
- In the 2nd it was three up and 3 down for the Kats as Alyssa Bradberry, Rebekah Abair and Ashley Elvaney flied out. Burk when in order with a strike out, a groundout to Crowder and a full count strike out to end the inning. Score 2-0 Kennedale
- In the 3rd after Jamie Franks struck out, Turner and Neifert singled, Mary Grace Howard flied out while Turner stole third and Neifert moved to 2nd. Crowder then doubled, scoring both Turner and Niefert. Elizabeth Schiele singled and Crowder came home from 2nd. Bradberry singled and moved Schiele to 2nd but the scoring ended on Abair‘s grounded out. The Lady Bulls after a grounded out to Crowder, got a line drive triple but couldn?t score after Turner got her 4th strike out and a fly out to Howard. Score 5-0. Kennedale
- In the 4th Kenndale McElvaney reached on a walk and moved to third on a Franks? double. Turner got a walk and Neifert, with a sacrifice, moved Franks and Turner into scoring position and McElvaney scored. But Franks and Turner were left on base when Howard lined out and Crowder grounded out. Burk scored their first run of the game after a walk and a passed ball. Turner got her 5th strike out. Score 6-1 Kennedale
- In the top of the fifth, Kennedale went in order with three groundouts. But, Turner reciprocated with her 6th and 7th Ks and a fly out to Crowder while walking one. Score 6-1 Kennedale
- McElvaney started out the 6th with a single and was moved to 2nd by a Neifert sacrifice. Turner was walked but Neifert hit into a double play taking out both her and McElvaney ending the Kennedale threat. Burk was looking for a rally when they had one out and two walks but Turner got strike out #8 and a ground out to Crowder. Score 6-1 Kennedale
- In the 7th, Kennedale added to their 5 run lead, guaranteeing the win, when Howard started off with a single, followed by another by Crowder and Howard scored on a ground out by Schiele. Bradberry then walked which set up Abair?s fielder choice that scored Crowder and Abair reached with Bradberry out. With two out, McElvaney reached on an error followed by a Franks? second double, scoring Abair but Neifert flied out to end the scoring for the Kats. Turner then ensured the win getting a pop up out to Abair, a fly out to Bradberry and strike out #9. Final score 9-1 Kennedale.
