Wildcats football graduates play in high school bowl games

The Kennedale Wildcat football team had 5 graduates playing in high school seniors bowls last week.
 

In the North Texas Bowl played at Pennington Field in Bedford on June 13, four 2014 Wildcats seniors participated.{{more}} Playing were Chris George (DB), Derrick Williams (DB), True Gibson (DB) and Isaiah Franklin. For the game Derrick Williams had a pick-off and Isaiah Franklin recorded a sack. East won 9-7.

Jake Michener (with his

the 76th East-West Oil Bowl

Former Kennedale Wildcat quarterback Jake Michener playing in the 84th annual East/West Oil Bowl Classic in Wichita Falls on June 14, threw a 45 yard pass to set up a field goal for the West team. It turned out to be the longest play of the game and led to West?s only score of the game. East won 7-3.
 
The Wildcat players graduated June 6 from Kennedale High School.
