City honored with State Comptroller Leadership Designation

The Texas Comptroller office has awarded the City

of Kennedale continued membership in the Leadership Circle at the Platinum level.

The designation by the state is for city?s continued progress toward achieving financial transparency. {{more}}

The Leadership Circle program recognizes local governments across Texas that are striving to meet a high standard for financial transparency online.

The efforts by the city are designed to provide citizens with a clear, consistent picture of spending in a user-friendly format.

Financial transparency is a keystone to building trust and cooperation between city leadership and residents. The City of Kennedale received its first award in November 2012.
