Tonight, Friday, August 7, 2015, is the annual kickoff of fall sports for Kennedale High School. The event for parents, players, friends and fans is free and open to the public. It begins at 8 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium, 901 Wildcat Way in Kennedale. {{more}}The teams along with the Wildcat Marching Band have already begun practicing for the upcoming season and as luck would have it, just in time for the 100 degree weather.
Teams that will be introduced tonight include the Lady Kats Volleyball team (2014 record: 19-13 and district champion), the Kennedale Wildcats Football (2014 record: 12-1 and district champion), the Wildcat/LadyKat Cross Country teams (2014 Record: 2nd place district), the Kennedale Wildcat Marching Band (2014 Record: 5th place in state), and featuring the 2015-16 KHS Wildcat Cheer Team along with Willy the Wildcat.
Come and join in the fun as the new year kicks off with the introduction of some of the top performers and teams in Class 4A.
