Pantego Celebrates 4th Annual Free Festival

The town of Pantego is proud to announce the 4th annual Pantego Fest will take place September 25th – 27th. Pantego Fest is a free admission festival that offers fun for the entire family. {{more}}

 

The festival is located at the archway to Pantego in the Park Row West Shopping Center Parking lot (2229 West Park Row).

 

According to City Manager Matt Fielder, “The Town of Pantego is offering Pantego Fest to support local businesses by showcasing our community and displaying our small town charm. Pantego Fest is a very exciting weekend for Pantego and we welcome the opportunity for visitors from near and far to come and experience our home town atmosphere.”

 

Pantego Fest has built a reputation for featuring local and classic rock tribute bands. This year they won’t disappoint. Friday kicks off the festival with the headliner LeFreak. Other featured bands over the course of the weekend will be Incognito, Me & My Monkey (the Beatles Tribute band), and Escape (The Dallas Journey Tribute band) to name a few.

 

Pantego Fest offers a weekend of events appealing to all age groups and interests. Festival goers will be able to stroll through arts and crafts and business tents while enjoying a myriad of activities each of the three days. Old fashioned hometown fun activities such as a 5K and fun run, pet parade, pie baking competition and pie eating contest.

 

This year the festival will have an extended Kids Zone that offers inflatables that appeal to all ages as well as bubble runners, bumper boats, kiddie train and a mechanical bull all offered for small fee per ride.
