Four developments are closing out but three are just getting started.
A drive around the Kennedale area shows there is a lot of residential construction happening, adding to all the new homes that were not around three short years ago. {{more}}
Going south on Little School Road, the Vineyards, a 45 acre development is now actively building. There are 31 homes in various stages of construction in the 117 lot subdivision. But across street on the Little School Road, in the Brookstone Estates development, the final lot has been sold and the last home is nearly finished.Further out, new homes are creeping down Swiney Hiett road. The Beacon Hill development off of Swiney Hiett and Mansfield Cardinal is now complete.
Heading east on Eden Road, housing construction that is within the Kennedale ISD is going strong.
Eden Village is in the early construction phase with 9 houses at or near completion in the 9 acre 40 lots development.The larger Melia Ranch development has just started selling lots with 2 models and 7 spec houses.
But two developments in the same area are nearing completion.Tierra Verde, a 20 lot development, has the last four houses under construction.Next to Eden Village is Eden Glen, a 141 lot development, which has 12 houses under construction and according to developer D. R. Horton they are in the “closing out phase” with just a few lots remaining.
