Friday
4:30 p.m. – Kicking off the weekend will be a return volleyball match between the #10 Kennedale Lady Kats and the #15 Godley at 4:30 p.m. in the Wildcat Den at Kennedale High School. Kennedale won the first match 3-1 and currently sit in first place in District 7-4A. Records: Kennedale 25-13, 6-0. Godley 25-10, 5-1.
7:00 p.m. – The #4 Kennedale Wildcats will host the Lake Worth Bullfrogs in a homecoming game at Wildcat Stadium. This is a district game. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. with pregame activities starting at 7 p.m. Records: Kennedale: 6-0, 1-0. Lake Worth: 3-3, 1-0. Kennedale has an explosive running game while Lake Worth sports a balanced run/pass game.
Saturday
8:00 a.m. – Kennedale host a bird identification workshop and bird watching event beginning at 8 a.m. at Kennedale City Hall and continuing at the Southwest Nature Preserve on Bowman Springs Road. 10:00 a.m. – Open House hosted by the Kennedale Police, Fire and Emergency Services at the Kennedale Fire Station – 100 Cloverlane Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060. Time 10-12 noon. Come and Go event. Free hot dogs and drinks, children bounce house, demonstrations and safety/crime prevention information. Read more at Open House
5:00 p.m. – Annual Kennedale Alumni Association ? 60th All Class ? Reunion beginning at 5 p.m. at Kennedale High School. Open to all alumni, a five dollar registration fee (membership) is required at the door if you have not pre-registered. Dinner (bring a covered dish preferably a disposable container), visiting, class group pictures, awards, installation of officers, and Chance Auction – honoring the class of 1965 as they celebrate their 50 year reunion! All money raised by the Chance Auction and membership dues (minus seed money for next year?s reunion costs) will go into the Scholarship Fund for Kennedale Graduates who qualify.
