Park and Bird Sanctuary Clean-up This Saturday

The Keep Kennedale Beautiful Commission along with the City of

Kennedale and Progressive Waste Solutions will be holding a park clean-up this Saturday at Sonora Park in Kennedale. {{more}}

This is a volunteer led effort to clean up the Kennedale Bird Sanctuary located at Sonora Park as well as other areas of the park. The clean-up will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 1 p.m. with lunch included (be sure and register so they know the count). Volunteer hours will be awarded. Students who participate will need a guardian/parent consent form signed.

Volunteers are asked to check-in at 9 a.m. at the park pavilion and to wear appropriate clothing for the work ? long pants, long sleeve shirt, work shoes or boots and bring rakes, shovels, clippers, etc.
