Kennedale junior basketball standout, Evie Whorley, has received multiple post-season awards this year. The latest is the selection to the Star Telegram Area Girls Basketball Super Team for 2016. {{more:[read more]}}Whorley scored 753 points this season, averaging 20.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 2.8 assist per game.

this past spring and summer to get to where she is? Watson added, ?Evie has also grown into a
great leader on our team. [She] is a tremendous young lady both on and off of
the court, and has a bright future ahead of her.?
Kennedale finished this season with a 24-12, 9-1 record, a district co-championship, a bi-district playoff title and a #22 MaxPreps 4A state rank with an all underclassmen team.
