College Day in KISD

Today is College Day on a couple of campuses in the Kennedale School District. It is just a fun day to wear the colors and/or clothing that represents your favorite school. {{more:[Read more]}}

 

But, the real purpose is to encourages students to begin thinking about life after high school. And, for high school seniors, it is a reminder that decisions are on them.

 

The following are some Kennedale High School seniors who have already received acceptance letters from local, in-state and out-state schools. This is in no way a complete list, and, some may receive more than one college offer. Some athletes have or will have special signings. Kennedale News will post more of these announcements as they are received.

 

Kennedale

High School in an effort to help students has started a special program to help students through the college application process. A GO Center has been set up on campus that is open Monday through Thursday. It is operated by UTA students who work with individual students to help them with their applications and to provide college information to classrooms across the district.

The program was initiated by KHS Counselor Kelley Holik and is part of a federal grant program. Find out more about the federal program at Go
