Thousands of Americans in communities across the country discarded more than 350 tons of unused, expired, or unwanted drugs as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration?s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Initiative in 2015.

That same study showed that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including from the home medicine cabinet.

Collection hours are between 10am to 2pm. The Kennedale Police Department is located at 401 Municipal Way next to the Kennedale Community Center and City Library.
